During a engagement to a cathedral in Staffordshire on Monday, King Charles was heckled by a individual who questioned him about Prince Andrew's connections with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The individual asked how long the monarch had been aware about his sibling's association with Epstein, and also questioned whether he had asked the police to "cover up" for Prince Andrew.

Amid the protest, there were throngs of well-wishers and cheers for the monarch, who was in Staffordshire for an ceremony.

Prince Andrew's links with Jeffrey Epstein have been under intense scrutiny in recent weeks. The prince, who gave up his titles earlier this month, has strongly denied any misconduct.

"How long have you been aware about Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein? Have you asked the police to cover up for him?"

The King ignored the questions but carried on meeting supporters, some of whom shouted "God Save The King". One fan can be overheard asking him for a embrace.

Another woman outside the cathedral was also observed telling the protester to "leave" and to "shut up".

Scandal Revived by Posthumous Publication

The controversy over the Duke of York's connections to Epstein has been brought back into focus by misconduct claims repeated in Ms. Giuffre's posthumously-published book.

In the memoir, Ms Giuffre says she had sex with the prince on three separate occasions, including once with Epstein and "eight other young girls"

Prince Andrew, who agreed to a out-of-court agreement with the plaintiff in recent years, has repeatedly denied any misconduct. In 2019, he told a news program he did not recall meeting Ms Giuffre "at all", and that they "did not have any sort of intimate relations."

Fresh Questions About Lifestyle and Housing

But recently, fresh questions have been raised about how he is able to fund his way of life despite not being a active member of the royal family.

The disclosure that he has only ever paid a token annual rent on his Royal Lodge has intensified the examination over his housing situation - even though he made large payments initially, including for improvements.

The political party said he should be summoned front of MPs to give testimony about his lease of his lodge.

But last week, the authorities declined to give MPs time to discuss the royal's titles or his residence, despite increasing calls for investigation.

Buckingham Palace has not commented on whether Prince Andrew might move out of his home - or where he might go.
