A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday following a recent announcement of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.
Family and Institution Confirm the Loss
The sad news was shared in a public statement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Illness
Within a recently published piece in November, Schlossberg revealed that she had been suffering from acute myeloid leukemia with a uncommon variant.
This form of cancer is a disease that affects the blood and bone marrow.
The family is seeking space as they grieve.
